UTARI Researchers Win Best Paper

Dr. Nick Gans, Principal Research Scientist and Head of the Automation and Intelligent Systems Division, and Cody Lundburg, Research Scientist 2, won best paper in the Modeling Simulation and Software Session at the 2023 Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering Technology Symposium hosted by the National Defense Industrial Association.

The paper “Targeting Simulation for Assessment of lay Error Under Various Conditions,” had additional collaborators, including Jennifer Forsythe, U.S. Army DEVCOM Analysis Center, Dr. Thirimachos Bourlai, Associate Professor, University of Georgia, and Parker Ensing, Graduate Researcher, University of Georgia.
