Biography

Kevin Hoos is a Senior Research Scientist for the Institute for Predictive Performance Methodologies at the University of Texas at Arlington. His research focuses on Discrete Damage Modeling of composite materials and the application of DDM used in composite structural analysis. Prior to joining IPPM, Kevin worked as a Composite Mechanics Engineer at the University of Dayton Research Institute. He received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton in 2015. He obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University in 2010.
