Biography

 

Eileen Clements, PhD, oversees the research program at UTARI spanning the areas of biomedical technologies, robotics and automation, and the performance prediction of materials and structures. She leads the research staff in developing partnerships with industry and other academic institutions to drive the development of technologies towards commercialization. She also manages the overall operation of the Institute, working closely with the business development, financial, facilities, and grant administration units to promote and support the projects, researchers, faculty, and students at UTARI.

She received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and her M.S. and PhD. both in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her own research interest is in the area of biomedical technologies specifically developing systems to assist individuals manage their chronic health conditions.
