Biography
Zhenjia Gao joined the Institute of Predictive Performance Methodology at the University of Texas at Arlington as a Research Scientist III in 2019. Her research focuses on discrete damage modeling methodologies for laminated composites. Zhenjia earned her Ph.D in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rice University. Prior to enrolling at Rice, she completed M.S. degrees in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University, and her B.S. degree in Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University, China.
