The American Society of Mechanical Engineers hosted their Dynamic Systems and Control Conference October 5-7, 2020. The conference provides a focused setting for dissemination and discussion of the state of the art in dynamic systems and control research, with a mechanical engineering flavor. The technical program typically covers the modeling, simulation, analysis, design, and control of dynamical systems. Topics include control theory, industrial applications, and innovations in dynamical systems and control education.
Dr. Pavan Nuthi, Research Scientist III, presented his and Dr. Muthu Wijesundara’s, Principal Research Scientist and Biomedical Technologies Division Head, paper on “Modeling and Simulation of Aircell Actuator Seat Cushion with Pneumatic Line Lag and Capacitative Effects. Dr. Wenyaun Shi, Research Scientist II, presented his and Dr. Wijesundara’s paper on “Angular Velocity Control of Pneumatic Soft Robotic Digits.” Watch Dr. Wenyaun’s presentation here.
