Biography
My name is Godwyll Aikins, and I am from Ghana, West Africa. I completed both my undergraduate degree and Ph.D. in robotics and control systems at the Florida Institute of Technology, where I developed a strong interest in tackling complex challenges in autonomous systems.
I’m currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UTARI, working under Dr. Gans in the Autonomous and Intelligent Systems division. My research centers on creating autonomous control methods for robotic systems operating under partial observability; essentially helping machines make smart decisions, even when they don’t have all the information.
When I’m not in the lab, I love playing soccer.
